The Black Magician Trilogy by Trudi Canavan are indeed fascinating books. I do recommend these books to readers who like heavy reading and fantasy. I seriously could not seem to put down the book once I started reading it - highly addictive!! Every turn of the page make you seem to want to know more, putting you on the edge and thus the flipping of the pages never seem to cease. I can read on and on and on if there were no interruptions. Time seemed to fly by when I'm reading and before I knew it it was late at night. Its hard to stop reading when you're so curious to know what happen next. A few days ago, my mum called me out for dinner and I just gave her a short reply, acknowledging her call but somehow I kept on reading. Later on she shouted and I got annoyed but realized that I had her waiting, reluctantly I put the book down and went to dinner. I do try to limit the pages I read because at the speed I'm going, I can just finish the whole series in a mere week but somehow it did not seem to work. So I'm now in the third book. I'm practically blogging to get away from reading because I know I can't stop once I started. The characters are awesome and I'm literally in love with Akkarin, the High Lord!! Sadly he died in the end *scowls* I 'm truly amazed that Trudi Canavan's imagination and writing can just make another different world seem so real!! To those who had read the books, I think you know this fairly well. I'm a bit sad now that I'm halfway through the third book. Why? Because I don't want the story to end!! Sadly it have to. Planning on getting the Ages of Five Trilogy now and hoping that Amanda can come back with them in tow *cross fingers that she reads this and agrees to get them for me* Anyway, I'm starting to build my Septimus Heap collection now. Hard cover and paperback is the same price so obviously I chose the hard cover. I like hard covered books as they don't spoil easy *chuckles* Actually the synopsis wasn't that catchy but I trust that Amanda's recommendations can be trusted!! I hope she reads this *lol* I'm desperate for the Ages of Five books even if I knew it wouldn't be as good as the Black Magician Trilogy!!
Books make good sources for my imagination...
